A recipient of many awards, artist Dattatraya Thombare composes abstract forms and realistic images such that the resultant images become a fusion of representation and non-representational concepts. Using a beautiful blend of colours and figures in a multi-dimensional background adds an added dimension and depth to his works. The canvases showcased here are a perfect example of his technique of trinity that combines reality, realization and the mind beautifully.
