Subrata Saha, an accomplished artist from Bengal lovingly paints women who, perhaps after a hard day of work, sit back and enjoy a precious moment by themselves. In spite of unconventional skin tone et al, there is an intrinsic grace and fluidity that radiates through the relaxed body language, completely at ease. The showcased oils on canvas extol womanhood and celebrate its iridescent glory.
